My Spin

A nice little upbeat Clyde McPhatter tune, Elvis' version of "Come What May" deserved more attention than it got in 1966.

I'll get around to writing my spin soon, so stay tuned. Browse the other stuff below in the meantime.

With "Come What May" we encounter a song which was out of date even when it was recorded. It is a fast rocker, but the production, to a generation used to the sounds of Phil Spector, is raw and messy.
