A nice little upbeat Clyde McPhatter tune, Elvis' version of "Come What May" deserved more attention than it got in 1966.

With "Come What May" we encounter a song which was out of date even when it was recorded. It is a fast rocker, but the production, to a generation used to the sounds of Phil Spector, is raw and messy.

I remember finding this single at a little record store just after Elvis died. I had never heard it before so I bought it, and have liked it ever since. I agree with Brian,, there is kind of a Beatles intro. Ive always preferred Elvis up beat songs over the ballads, and this little ditty is right up my alley.
