(Just my opinion. Give us yours!)
Elvis tackled the old Johnny Ace hit "Pledging My Love" in his late '76 "Jungle Room sessions" at Graceland, his very last batch of studio recordings. The arrangement is pretty much straight-forward doo-wop updated for the '70s, with a faster tempo than the original, and Elvis delivering passable but lackluster vocals. Still, this is one of my faves from the Graceland sessions.

(What did the critics and fans say?)
"Pledging My Love" is another curiosity: at least twenty years out of date, this slow, rocking ballad, with its heavy dragging triplets, is musically nothing.
